Click Pain — Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
Click Pain records pain episodes — when they start, how bad they are, what
you took, and when they stop. That is health information, and it is treated
as such. It works without any account or login. Your record lives on your
device and in your own private iCloud, and is never accessible to us.
1. Overview
This policy explains what information Click Pain handles, why, and the
choices you have. Click Pain is developed by Krojač. By
using the app you agree to this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect nothing. There is no account, no server of ours,
and nothing is transmitted to us. The app stores the following
on your device:
- Pain episodes — when each started and ended, how intense it was, how the intensity changed while it ran, and the type of pain.
- Medicines you configure, and the doses you record against an episode.
- Your answers to the two-hour check, including whether the medicine helped.
- Weather and environment readings taken when an episode starts and ends — temperature, air pressure and its trend, humidity, wind, precipitation, UV — together with the coordinates they were read at.
- Your settings: the pain type you track, your medicines, and whether check-in notifications are on.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No analytics, no usage tracking, no crash reporting services.
- No advertising identifiers, no advertising of any kind.
- No third-party SDKs. The app is built on Apple frameworks only.
- No name, email address or phone number — the app never asks for one.
- No background location. Your position is read only at the two moments described below.
Your health information is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or
profiling. We could not do so if we wanted to: it never reaches us.
4. Health Information
A pain record is sensitive. It says when you were unwell, how badly, and
what medication you took. Click Pain keeps it on your device, syncs it only
through your own iCloud, and does not write it to Apple Health or to any
other app.
Click Pain is not a medical device. It records what you
tell it and shows it back to you. It does not diagnose, does not advise on
dosage, and does not claim that anything causes your pain — where it shows
weather alongside your record, it describes what you recorded and nothing
more. It is not a substitute for a clinician.
5. Third-Party Services
-
Apple Weather (WeatherKit) — to tell you what the
conditions were during an episode, the app asks Apple's weather service
about a set of coordinates. Apple receives those coordinates to answer.
This is governed by
Apple's Privacy Policy.
-
iCloud / CloudKit — if you are signed in to iCloud, your
record syncs between your devices through your own private iCloud
database. It is stored under your Apple Account, not ours, and we have no
access to it.
-
App Store — Click Pain Pro is sold by Apple. Apple
handles the payment and tells the app only whether a purchase is active.
We never see your payment details.
There are no other third parties.
6. Permissions the App May Ask For
-
Location (while using the app) — read at exactly two
moments: when an episode starts and when it ends. It is used only to look
up the weather at that place and time. The coordinates are stored with the
episode, because a pressure reading from another city would mean nothing.
Decline it and everything works except weather.
-
Notifications — used to ask whether your pain has passed
about two hours in, and to warn you before an episode is closed
automatically. They are scheduled on your device; there is no push server.
You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
7. Data Storage & Security
Your record is held in the app's own storage on your device, protected by
the device's encryption and passcode. iCloud copies are protected by your
Apple Account and Apple's encryption. Because there is no account with us
and no server of ours, there is no database of users to breach.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- Delete any episode from its own screen in the app.
-
Delete everything at once in Settings → Data → Delete
everything. This removes every episode, dose and medicine from the app
on your iPhone and from your iCloud. It cannot be undone. If your
device is offline, the iCloud copies are removed the next time it
syncs.
- Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device.
-
Export your record as a spreadsheet file at any time. The file is created
on your device when you ask for it and goes wherever you choose to send
it — from that point it is outside the app, and this policy no longer
governs it.
9. Children's Privacy
Click Pain is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly
collect information from them. As stated above, it collects nothing from
anyone.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material
changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
