ClickPet — Privacy Policy

ClickPet is a pet-care organizer for real households — feedings, walks, medications, vaccines and vet visits, shared with your family. It works without any account or login. Your pets' data lives on your device and in your own private iCloud, and is never accessible to us.

1. Overview

This policy explains what information ClickPet handles, why, and the choices you have. ClickPet is developed by Krojač. By using the app you agree to this policy.

2. Data We Collect

Your pet-care content — pet profiles (name, species, breed, birthday, weight), photos you add, and the care events you log: meals, water, walks, medications, protections, vaccinations, vet and grooming appointments. All of it is stored locally on your device and synced to your private iCloud account, encrypted by Apple. We cannot read it.
Optional first name — if you enter one in Settings, it is used only to label who completed a task (e.g. "Anja fed Dunja"). It stays inside your household's data.
Walk location (optional) — if you allow location access, the app records your walk route on your device to show distance. Routes are part of your pet-care content: they stay on your device and your private iCloud and are never sent to us.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not require an account, email, or password.
We do not run our own servers — there is no ClickPet database that holds your data.
We do not use any analytics SDK and do not profile your behaviour.
We do not show ads and we do not track you across apps.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.

4. Family Sharing

If you invite family members or a pet sitter, sharing happens through Apple iCloud (CloudKit sharing). The people you invite can see and log care for your pets exactly as iCloud sharing permits; you can see who has access and revoke it at any time in the app. We are never part of that data path — sharing is device-to-iCloud-to-device, inside Apple's encrypted infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

Apple CloudKit — stores and syncs your pet data in your own private iCloud, encrypted by Apple.
Apple StoreKit — processes the ClickPet Pro purchase or subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your card or billing details.
Apple EventKit (Calendar) — only if you allow it, vet and grooming appointments are added to your own Apple Calendar.

6. Permissions the App May Ask For

Notifications — local reminders for meals, medications, vaccines and appointments. Scheduled on your device; no push server of ours is involved (family activity notifications travel through Apple's CloudKit push).
Photos / Camera — to add a picture of your pet. Photos are resized and stored inside your pet data.
Calendar — to add appointments to your calendar.
Location (While Using) — to record walk routes.

Every permission is optional — the app works without them.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on your device (Apple SwiftData) and mirrored to your private iCloud account using Apple's encrypted CloudKit. Because we operate no servers, there is no central copy of your data for anyone to breach.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Delete your data — delete any pet or entry in-app; deletions propagate to your private iCloud and to invited members. Deleting the app and removing its iCloud data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage erases everything.
Revoke sharing — in the app, open Family Sharing and remove a member or revoke all access.
Manage subscription — ClickPet Pro is managed and cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings.

9. Children's Privacy

ClickPet is family-friendly and shows no ads. It is not directed to children under 13 as the account-free data belongs to the household's adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
